Training Programme

To provide basic knowledge about the carbon footprint of construction products and the Scheme, as well as to offer professional training on CFP quantification, ZCB is organising a series of training programmes under the Scheme. The training programmes consist of awareness courses and auditor courses.

Awareness Course

This course attempts to provide essential information about the concept of the carbon footprint, the rationale behind the CIC Carbon Labelling Scheme, and its relevance to your organisation and products. All industry practitioners are welcome to join. It serves as a pre-requisite for enrollment in the auditor training programme.  Download Application Form and Flyer

Auditor Course

Auditor Course aims to provide detailed guidance on how to use the Assessment Guides and quantification tool to calculate the CFP of a specific cement, steel product and now also ready-mixed concrete. Participants will have hands-on practice on CFP quantification and reporting. Trainees who pass the examination and hold certificate(s) of "ISO 14001 Certified Auditor" / "Certified PAS 2050 Verifier" or at least 1-year experience in CFP auditing are eligible to register as a Certified Carbon Auditor (CCA) under ZCB.  Download Application Form and Flyer

Notes:
1. A closed book exam is held at the end of the course. A certificate of completion will be issued to participants upon passing the examination.
2. Participants may re-take the exam ONCE only with no additional charge. An administration fee of HK$500 will be charged for additional attempts.
