CIC Construction Innovation Award 2025

Innovation has become an essential source of competitive advantage in today's competitive world. Firms in the construction industry are increasingly reliant upon creative ideas and innovative solutions to deliver projects in an efficient, safe, and green manner. Henceforth, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) has been organising the Construction Innovation Award since 2015, with the aim to spearhead the development, promotion and implementation of new construction materials, methods, technologies for enhancing the competitiveness of the construction industry.

Scope of Entry

Each entry must focus on one of the following subject areas:

Construction Productivity: innovative materials, equipment, systems, technologies, construction practices, or any initiatives applicable to different construction projects in enhancing productivity and quality.

Construction Safety: innovative materials, equipment, technologies, construction practices, or any initiatives that could improve the safety and health conditions at construction sites.

Construction Sustainability: innovative materials, equipment, systems, technologies, or any initiatives applicable in the construction industry that are beneficial to the built environment.

Prizes

Except the sub-category of Full-time Students, the winner(s) will receive a cash prize, a trophy and a certificate for each prize.

*The prize money will be awarded as a sponsorship for students to join an overseas visit organised by the CIC within 1 to 2 years.
