Construction Industry Lo Pan ． Love Community 2025

In the past, the Construction Industry Council（CIC） designated the month of Lo Pan's birthday as ＂Lo Pan Service Month＂each year, holding various volunteer activities, including ＂Lo Pan Rice Campaign＂, ＂Blood Donation Day＂　and ＂Countryside and Shoreline Clean-up Campaign＂ to promote and inherit the spirit of Lo Pan predecessors in benefiting the community.

The activities have received strong support from industry organisations, and construction professionals have actively participated in. Recognizing this, the Construction Industry Sport and Volunteer Program（CISVP） will expand the activities of the Service Month to run throughout the year starting this year, under the theme ＂Lo Pan ． Love Community＂, to extending more loves and services to different communities.

Total 3 signature volunteering services will be organised in ＂Lo Pan Love ． Community＂. Here are the event details：

Lo Pan Rice Campaign：Collaborating with various NGOs to distribute warm meal box to the underprivileged communities at designated locations in all 18 districts of Hong Kong on Friday evenings. Organisations can sponsor meal boxes, arrange volunteers to distribute meal boxes in different community.

Blood Donation Day：Collaborating with Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, blood donation stations will be set up in Hong Kong Institute of Construction and CIC - Zero Carbon Park. CISVP also encourage industry organisations to hold or participate in blood donation, all industry practitioners and public are welcomed to join. Organisations can also organise colleagues to visit nearby blood donation centre or arrange blood donation outreach team to hold blood donation day at suitable location.

Countryside and Shoreline Clean-up Campaign： CISVP mobilizes various industry organizations to conduct cleanup activities at different hiking trails, countryside areas, and shorelines across Hong Kong on Saturdays and Sundays. Working together to protect the environment. Organisations also can plan their own routes, or CISVP can suggest route options based on the organisation's preferences.
