Swap wardrobes and share the joy! To strive for sustainable development in the community, CIC-Zero Carbon Park ("CIC-ZCP") is going to organise green campaign with the theme of "Sustainable·Fashion" to further disseminate the concept of resource sharing and encourage green living style as well as celebrate the Green Mid-Autumn Festival.
CIC-ZCP first collaborated with JupYeah, a social enterprise exchange platform, to host a 3-day "Autumn Something" fashion swap activity in mid-September to give a second life to clothes and promote a rational consumption model so as to tackle the social behaviour of excessive waste.
In addition to the 3-day fashion swap activity, there are limited green workshops and low-carbon busking performances to offer an immersive experience to every treasure hunter during the weekend.

Have you ever thought that old clothes can be transformed into a photo hotspot? Following the success of last year's art installation, CIC-ZCP partnered with Rhys Workshop Limited, a local social enterprise clothing factory, to create an upcycled art installation titled "Jade Rabbit Dancing in Clothes of Joy" in 2024. The second-hand clothes were recycled by Friends of the Earth (HK) and then sewed into festive art pieces, with the aim of promoting the concept of sustainable fashion.
The art installation uses sustainable low-carbon environmentally friendly material - bamboo as the main backbone, with the bamboo characteristics in flexibility and durability to form the shape of a full, round moon. The art installation was stitched with a variety of second-hand clothing to create the lifelike shape of the moon and rabbit. To redefine the possibilities of upcycled clothes to encourage sustainable fashion, all families and friends are welcome to come and experience the unique aesthetics of traditional festivals and green fashion.
