The “designated workers for designated skills” provision under the Construction Workers Registration Ordinance

According to the L.N. 14 of 2015, 1 April 2015 has been appointed as the day on which the “Construction Workers Registration (Amendment) Ordinance 2014” comes into operation (except sections 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,26 and 36). For the content of the Ordinance, please click here. 

The “designated workers for designated skills” provision will be implemented on 1 April 2017, please see the presentation slides and the booklet of “designated workers for designated skills” for more details of the provision.
