Mail Delivery Service for Collection of Workers Registration Card

To provide construction workers with better service, CIC offers mailing service for the collection of workers registration cards with effect from 19 May 2014. 

The service is available for: 

• Registration and renewal applications with no refund (including information update on card, replacement of damaged card and lost card)

The service is not available for: 

• Registration and renewal applications with refund, such as alignment of Green Card expiry date, working visa, change from provisional registration to normal registration with refund
• Renewal application via trade unions
• Renewal application by mail
• Mailing address outside Hong Kong region

The Workers Registration Card will be sent to the worker' s registered address by ordinary mail approximately 7-14 working days after the application is completed with no postage charge on the addressee.
The worker is required to acknowledge receipt of and to validate the new/renewal/replacement registration card within 7 working days by calling 2873 1911.
